Joel has over 30 years of extensive experience in Healthcare Financial Management as a Chief Financial Officer for community hospitals (both acute and behavioral), PE-backed multistate home health agencies, large multispecialty physician groups, and FQHC clinics.
Located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Family First Adolescent Services offers a safe, supportive environment for young men aged 13–18 to address complex mental health and behavioral challenges. Since 2014, we’ve been committed to helping teens and their families achieve lasting healing through a clinical approach that focuses on the root causes of behavioral issues. Our residential setting, complete with sun, sand, and water activities, provides a therapeutic yet welcoming space for young men to reconnect with themselves and build a stronger, healthier future.
Roots Renewal Ranch is a peaceful, multi-acre facility dedicated to helping adolescent girls, ages 13-17, heal from mental health and substance use challenges. Surrounded by nature, our ranch provides a nurturing and distraction-free environment where girls can explore their personal stories, reconnect with themselves and their families, and develop the skills to build a healthier, more purposeful life. With a focus on emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being, we offer animal therapy, outdoor activities, and a comprehensive, whole-child approach to healing, ensuring every girl has the support and tools needed to thrive.
Avery’s House provides comprehensive mental health treatment for teens ages 12–17 through residential and outpatient programs in Arizona and Idaho. We work with adolescents facing depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and related mental health challenges, offering individualized care in supportive, structured environments. Known for our family-focused approach, small groups, and personalized attention, Avery’s House helps teens stabilize, develop healthier coping skills, and prepare for successful reintegration at home, in school, and in daily life. Services may include individual, group, and family therapy, psychiatric support, academic coordination, and experiential therapies based on each teen’s clinical needs. Through individualized treatment planning and close collaboration with families, Avery’s House supports meaningful progress both in treatment and beyond discharge. Our goal is to help each teen build the stability, insight, and practical skills needed for healthier functioning at home, in school, and in everyday life
Modern Recovery Services extends the continuum of care for teens through a flexible virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that brings structured treatment into the home. Designed for adolescents ages 12–17, the program combines accessibility with evidence-based, trauma-informed, family centered care, including individual therapy, group sessions, family therapy, psychiatric support when needed, recovery coaching, and case management. For teens in Arizona who need in-person support, Modern Recovery also offers a teen PHP/day treatment program in Tempe. This program provides a more intensive therapeutic schedule in a clinical setting, with structured weekday care that may include individual, group, and family therapy. Together, Modern Recovery’s virtual and in-person options help families access the right level of support while staying connected to everyday life, school responsibilities, and long term healing goals.
